Availability: All, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter Theme: Ecosystems, First Nations

Description

Using a diagram based on the local knowledge of inhabitants of Pond Inlet, follow the yearly cycle of life in the Arctic. Consider the numerous environmental cycles and their impact on residents in this land of extremes. Explore the effects of change both climactically and culturally on these natural cycles of our most northern inhabitants.

With the possible introduction of a nearby iron mine what other changes to life could be expected?
