BRIEF HISTORY Since 2005, KEDF (Khulna Environment Development Foundation) has been evolving by raised voice against both human and natural environmental degradation, the disadvantaged people in their struggle for existence against natural disaster, river erosion, unsafe drinking water, injustices such as violence, untouchability, arson, looting, grabbing for getting shelter at Kash (State owned) land as a victim of natural disaster and river erosion, migrant as a victim of river erosion and waterlogged people. The organization has made many experiments in lights of its vision and mission for changing the situation of the disadvantaged, also ethnic minority of the region with diversified development and service delivery activities. In its short journey, the organization has faced several confrontations with the privileged class backed by the dogmatists who frequently attacked KEDF workers and power. With its recognition and acceptance has increased day by day in the area and with its increased capacity and capability, and strong organizational setup and networking with the NGOs, CBOs, media, and civil society, KEDF is well known in the social development fields in its area. Vision sensible and diversified community for adaptation with changing climate. Mission promote, protect and support self-reliant, participatory development efforts of the people.
