The School of Renewable Resources at Selkirk College in Castlegar offers 4 diploma program options for students: Forest Technology Geographic Information Systems Integrated Environmental Planning Recreation, Fish And Wildlife Our training takes advantage of excellent field lab sites including a 600-hectare woodlot managed by the College, the Skattebo Educational Forest (a 285-hectare private land area also managed by the College), and abundant public lands in close proximity to our school. The School provides state of the art classroom facilities including labs,equipment and computers. Selkirk College is committed to providing opportunities for students to put their studies to practical use and give them the tools to secure employment in the natural resource sector.
